Door Installation
It is very important to fit doors correctly as any unwelcome movement will result in the door not working properly. Any deviation from the amount of fixing points and where they are placed will also result in the door not working correctly.
After removing the old door similarly to the window removal on our previous section (please click here if you wish to read this), place the door into the aperture and fix using the step by step instructions explaind below.
| 1 | Drill and screw through outer frame using nylon frame fixings at all 3 hinge points |
| 2 | Screw through the bottom and top of frame making sure that when the door is closed it is square. |
| 3 | Fasten either side of the centre latch keep on the outer frame. |
| 4 | Fix the remaining 2 fixings top and bottom. |
| 5 | Place the packers diagonally the bottom hinge side and top lock side as shown. |
| Lastly, using a silison gun seal around the outside of the frame make door water tight. |
